Billing & credits

Memoire bills in credits. One currency for everything we run on your behalf. Coding-agent tokens (Claude/Codex) are billed by your provider, not us — see Coding Agents.

The trial

• 14 days, 10,000 credits, all features.
• Credit card required at signup so you can actually use spawn-coding- agent and demo-capture (the headline features). No charge during the trial.
• At the end of the trial, unused credits are cleared and your plan's monthly allowance kicks in. Trial credits don't roll over by design — they're a sample, not a balance.

What costs credits

• Memi orchestration calls (planning, classifying, summarising) — billed per token, with a small flat overhead per task.
• Memory operations (writes to core blocks, vector search) — flat per call, regardless of size.
• Demo video capture (Screenbox session + recording + Slack upload). One flat charge per video.
• Composio third-party tool calls (Notion, Asana, etc.) — billed at provider cost plus a small handling fee.

What doesn't cost credits

• The actual coding-agent subprocess (Claude Code, Codex). That's billed by Anthropic or OpenAI directly, on your account. We never mark up token cost.
• Reading memory or the dashboard — free, unlimited.
• Webhook deliveries from GitHub / Linear / Jira — free.

Plans

After the trial, plans are sold by credit volume + cadence (monthly or annual). No per-seat pricing, no "Pro vs Scale" tier gymnastics. See trymemoire.com/pricing for the live grid.

Hard credit gate

When your balance hits 0, Memi stops accepting new tasks in Slack and posts a Block Kit message with a top-up button. In-flight tasks finish — we don't kill running runners just because the balance flipped. Memory stays readable; only writes and new tasks are gated.

Top-ups

Out of credits but don't want to upgrade your plan yet? Buy a $10 / 10,000-credit pack from the dashboard. /dashboard/billing. Top-ups never expire.

Cancellation

Cancel any time from /dashboard/billing. Your current period stays active through its end date; we don't prorate. Cancellation also clears the credit balance at period end — consistent with the no-rollover policy.
